“This [America] will remain the land of the free so long as it is the home of the brave” — Elmer Davis
May is Military Appreciation Month, when we redouble our efforts to serve the brave military men and women who are always serving us to protect American lives and American freedom.
This year, Beardslee Public House is celebrating the month of May with soldiers from the US Armed Forces as our very special guests.
Enjoy a delicious, made-from-scratch meal and taste world-class signature brews at our family-friendly eatery in Bothell, WA, with a friend or a loved one who is in service and we’ll take 15% off the entire meal in his or her honor.* (Applies to retired veterans as well.)
And that’s not all.
Drew Cluley, our head brewer, will be making Monka Coffee Ale in May – a special coffee-infused light ale that is not on the regular menu. And for every Monka Coffee Ale and Bourbon Rebellion Cocktail we sell during Military Appreciation Month, we will donate $1 to the USO Northwest, a non-profit, private organization that supports America’s military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country, throughout their service to the nation.
As a non-government outfit, USO Northwest does not receive any government funding and relies solely on the generosity of individuals and organizations to support their activities. Out of every dollar USO Northwest receives as donation, the organization spends 91¢ to provide amenities such as travel assistance, troop deployment and homecoming events, care packages, free tickets, free internet etc. for soldiers and their families.
Join us during the month of May for our Military Appreciation event and let’s raise a glass together to the men and women in the US armed forces who are doing such a stellar job of protecting our right to live life the American way.
